Jonet Stradling, of Bristol is identified by Peter C. Bartrum as marrying James ap Hywel, of Trellwyn, grandson of Owen ap Robert (the aforesaid Owen living, 1342, 1363)

Agnes, or Annes, daughter of James ap Hywel and Jonet Stradling, married Gwilym ap Evan Bowen, of Pentre-Evan, Pembrokeshire.

See Nicholas, Annals and antiquities of the counties and county families of Wales, Volume 2, p. 895.

Birth date estimates for Jonet Stradling vary, some placing her birth about the year 1408.

Golden Grove MS, Book 5, page C650, identifies her as the daughter of Harry Stradling and [unknown] Jubb. Clarke's Limbus Patrum Morganiae et Glamorganiae, page 437, identifies her as the daughter of Harry Stradling and Jane Jubb. She couldn't have been the daughter of this couple as it appears to be a chronological impossibility based on her birth year estimate, Harry Stradling being a descendant of Sir Edward Stradling and Jane Beaufort, who were married circa 1423.

Any insight regarding her parentage and lineage is appreciated.

There aren't many Stradlings in this particular time period, the only
couple I could find were the following ...
Edward Stradling of St. Donat's (+1408/1409) and Gwenllian
Berkerolles.
